Desenzano

A renowned resort location, known particularly for its extraordinary night life and vivacity. Not less, however, is its cultural and historical attractions; a visit to the Roman villa discovered in 1921 is recommended to see the brilliantly coloured mosaics. Closeby, between the towns of Desenzano and Sirmione, one can visit the tower of S. Martino della Battaglia, erected to commemorate the soldiers who perished in the battle of 1859 between the Austrians and the Piedmontese troups. From the top of the 74 mt. tower you can enjoy a delightful view of Lake Garda.
